WARRANTY POLICY

AIM Equipment (Pty) Ltd warrants that at date of commissioning all articles supplied will be free of defects in material and workmanship.
AIM Equipment (Pty) Ltd agrees to correct any defective article or part thereof , provided that AIM Equipment (Pty) Ltd was advised in writing of the existence of such defectiveness within the “WARRANTY TIME PERIOD” described herein and provided that such defective article is made available for inspection at the AIM Equipment (Pty) Ltd premises at Delmas.

The warranty does not cover:
1.) Electrical components
2.) Pneumatic components
3.) Hydraulic components (Unless proven to be poor workmanship).

AIM Equipment (Pty) Ltd shall limit its liability to the correction or replacement of defective parts. This shall be the maximum liability and AIM Equipment (Pty) Ltd shall never be liable for consequential damages.
AIM Equipment (Pty) Ltd shall not be liable for any of the following:
> Labor costs in removing or re-installing articles or parts thereof,
> Transportation of articles / products to and from AIM’s premises, Replenishment of fluids such as lubricants,
> Any warranty issued by its own supplier greater than the scope of warranty as set out above,
> Accommodation nor traveling for personnel.
AIM Equipment (Pty) Ltd reserves the right to repair or replace any item under warranty at its own discretion.
All warranty claims will be made good at the AIM Equipment (Pty) Ltd premises at Delmas.

WARRANTY TIME PERIOD 
Twelve months for new equipment from date of supply, provided that there is a record of service by AIM Equipment (Pty) Ltd for the period preceding the date of the warranty claim.
Six months for repaired equipment provided there is a record of service by AIM Equipment (Pty) Ltd within this six month period.
Record of such service to be proven and substantiated by Aim Equipment (Pty) Ltd or service agent, provided that such service agents are approved by AIM Equipment (Pty) Ltd.
No warranty on second-hand equipment, components or parts.

Warranty Claim Procedure.
All warranty claims will follow the standard job process of ordering, performing the work or repair/s, invoicing and payment. Suspected components will be sent to their manufacturer where the warranty claim will be subject to said manufacturer’s warranty procedures.
Only after the warranty has been approved will credit be allocated towards the customer. Equipment, components or parts will not be released until the full job process is completed.
 
STATUS OF UNITS SENT FOR WARRANTY

Should any item under warranty be stripped, opened or worked on by anybody other than AIM Equipment (Pty) Ltd prior to AIM Equipment (Pty) Ltd receiving the item, then AIM Equipment (Pty) Ltd will not be bound to offer any warranty on the item whatsoever.
